Ebb and Flow of Missionaries - October 27th Group Arrives

Each three weeks as a group leaves for the field, the sun sets on an era (albeit a small era)

There are some things to do during the couple of days before the next group comes

We hold staff meetings to discuss what went well and what we should improve on
This time we decided to get more organized at keeping track of and reporting that EACH missionary gets the opportunity to email home to inform parents of safe arrival (phone if family does not have internet)

Even though most of the missionaries have gone to the field we had one district staying for an additional 3 weeks to learn French. This called for a visit to the newly constructed KFC down the road in Tema.

Then on Thursday the bags and missionaries of the new group begin to trickle in.

Unlike the 90+ missionaries of the last group this time we only received 70 new missionaries.
Here they wait to have an interview with President Brubaker and receive their badges.

For the first missionaries that arrive there is a first meal in the Cafeteria

After Lunch more interviews with President and Sister Brubaker
