A Group's First Week in the MTC

Here is an amazing sight!  New missionaries from 20 different countries waiting to meet
with their new President!  The day was filled with interviews with 95 new missionaries!

Church sign of the early days of the church in Ghana.  Wow!  Amazing what has happened in the last 40 years in Ghana!

Some Missionaries need an immunization that they didn't get at home.  The Sanders make it fun for the missionaries to receive their shots!

Then the instruction begins in ernest

Every day we have sports time.

Then one of our favorite days comes when we go to the temple in Accra...Come along and see

This group of 90 Missionaries had 63 who received their own endowments this week

Sister Brubaker points out the beautiful temple grounds and where to meet after the temple session

The Elders feel like they could fly up with Moroni at the temple

The 7th Intake of Missionaries Are Learning and Becoming Great Missionaries!

Our 7th Intake Group have had lots of wonderful experiences together!

We have great instructors at the MTC.  Many hours are spent together in the classrooms.  When they arrived two weeks ago, they were given a companion and missionaries were divided into districts.  Each district has two instructors.

This is the Benjamin District.  They are all French speaking and will serve in a French speaking country.
This is the Alma District.  This group of missionaries come from English speaking countries, and will serve their missions in a French speaking country.  They have been here for 5 weeks.
This is the Enos District.  They come from DR Congo and Côte d'Ivoire and will be serving in their country home of DR Congo.
This is the Jacob District.  They are all English speaking, They will be serving in Liberia and several missions in Nigeria.
This is the Jarom District.  Every missionary in this district are from the country of Nigeria.  Most of them will be serving in their country home.  Some will serve in Ghana after leaving the MTC.
This is the Lehi District.  They are all English speaking missionaries going to Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
This is the Moroni District They are from Côte d'Ivoire, DR Congo, and Benin.  They are learning English.
This is the Amulek District.  They are from Côte d'Ivoire, Togo,  Benin, Congo, and DR Congo
This is the Abinadi District.  They have been at the MTC for almost 6 weeks.  They have been very diligent as they are all learning French.
They are excited to see how much they have learned, as they prepare to go out and serve in a French speaking country.

Sister Adu and Sister Bondah are both from Ghana, and will be serving in the Ivory Coast Mission.
They have been here for almost 6 weeks, and only have 4 days to go!
This is the Helaman District - English speaking, going to the Monrovia Liberia Mission, and several missions in Nigeria.
We are missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!
Hurrah!!!  Hurrah!!!
We are preparing each day to be the best missionaries!
