Light the World Day 15 Be Merciful

Be ye Merciful ... He left the 90 and 9 and in his mercy he sought out the one.
To be merciful often involves letting go of our pride and thinking of the other person's happiness. "Even if it is not in accordance with Justice" or  is "What they deserve". Our hearts are then free to love even as the Savior loved.

Photo after the wonderful Devotional with Elder and Sister Vinson yesterday.

Learned a new scripture from his message.

Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
....Haggai 1:6

Sometimes it seems that we just can't get ahead in life ... Perhaps we need to add the wages of consecrated service to our bags. These might not easily slip through the holes inherent to this life on earth that we lead.

Going next door to the temple is always a special treat.
